CASE STUDY
Sea Glass Counseling
Services:
Website Design, Strategy, SEO
Erin Pritchard built Sea Glass Counseling around intensive therapy: concentrated sessions that deliver results faster than traditional weekly appointments. Her old site buried that differentiator under too many pages and too much copy. Visitors landed and left without understanding what made her practice different.
THE SITUATION
The old site had accumulated pages over time on Squarespace 7.0, more than it needed, and longer than they should have been. For a practice offering something clearly distinctive, that clutter was doing real damage. Visitors who landed couldn't quickly answer the basic question: what does Sea Glass actually do?
The intensive model is already a different way of thinking about therapy. Most people come in expecting weekly sessions. Erin's approach delivers concentrated support that gets clients further, faster. That's a story worth telling clearly. The old site wasn't telling it.
The platform itself had also become a constraint. Squarespace 7.0 had structural limitations that made meaningful improvement difficult without starting fresh.
THE WORK
The site was rebuilt from scratch on Squarespace 7.1, giving Erin room to breathe and a platform that could actually support where her practice is going. Page count came down significantly. Page length came down too. What remained was reorganized around one goal: helping a visitor understand Erin's approach and take the next step.
The intensive model now leads. Visitors arrive and immediately understand that Sea Glass isn't a traditional therapy practice. For the right client, that distinction is what gets them to book.
SEO work ran alongside the build. Erin was already on a solid track for some things; the work confirmed what was working and shored up the technical areas that were beyond the scope of what she could manage herself.
THE OUTCOME
Erin came in knowing roughly what she needed. The project confirmed her SEO instincts were sound, handled the technical work she couldn't, and delivered on a timeline she could plan around.
