Dr. Lisa Pranger founded Pathway to Wellness Psychology to care for adults living with chronic pain and illness, and with trauma. She sees clients in person in Frankfort, Illinois, and in Lowell, Indiana, two communities on the edge of greater Chicago. In early 2026 we built the practice’s brand and its first website, on Squarespace.
The situation
The practice was new and growing, and its domain didn’t have a site behind it yet. Lisa needed a place to send people looking for a therapist, and just as much, a place to send the pain specialists and neurosurgeons who refer patients to her for spinal cord stimulator evaluations.
Those two readers come looking for different things. A patient wants to know whether Lisa understands what they’re living with, and whether she takes their insurance. A physician wants to know how the evaluation works and where the report goes.
The design
The name gave us the idea. Every page opens on a photograph of a path, cut on a soft angle, beside a serif headline with one word set in green italic, like healing on the homepage or understood on Conditions.
The palette is deep forest green on warm cream, with an orange accent taken from the sun in the practice’s logo. It reads as calm and grounded, which suits a practice that asks people to take a hard first step.

The build
The homepage answers the practical questions before anything else. The insurance plans Lisa accepts sit right under the headline. Further down, the path from first message to first session is laid out step by step, followed by both office locations.
Each condition Lisa treats has its own page under Explore Conditions, eight in all, from anxiety and grief to chronic pain. Each one includes a short list of questions a reader might recognize in themselves, and links to the next condition so it’s easy to keep reading.
Referring physicians get their own path. The Services page has a section written to them, and the evaluation page spells out what the assessment covers and that the written report goes straight back to the referring provider.

SEO ran alongside the build. The main pages carry titles and descriptions that name what Lisa treats along with both towns, so the practice can turn up in local searches on both sides of the state line.
The outcome
The site went live in May 2026, and we’ve looked after it on a monthly care plan since. Lisa now has one address to give a new client and the same one to give a referring surgeon, and both find what they came for.
