Dr. Janine Domingues spent more than a decade at the Child Mind Institute, as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Senior Director of School and Community Programs. In 2026 she opened her own practice, Collaborative Growth Psychological Services, for children, teens, young adults and families in New Jersey and New York. Ken Schuster, a colleague whose site we’d built, introduced us that spring.
The situation
The practice was brand new, so it needed a visual identity and a business card along with its first website. All of it had to be ready by the time Janine started seeing clients on her own.
Most of the people looking for her are parents whose child’s anxiety has started to get in the way of school and home. They want to know she’s the right person before they reach out, and they want reaching out to be easy. Her work had been cited by NBC News, NPR, PBS and The Washington Post, and the site needed to show that without turning into a résumé.
Janine wanted to start with a single page and have it serve as the template for whatever came next.
The brand
We kept the identity simple: a small flower mark beside the name, with sage and terracotta on warm cream. Headlines are set in Cardinal Classic Short at its regular weight, with Dia for reading. Her business card uses the same pieces, with a QR code on the back that opens the site.

One page, in the order a parent reads it
Everything a family needs sits on one page, in the order they’d ask for it. After the first preview, Janine asked to bring her photo and bio closer to the top so families meet her right after the welcome, and we moved them there. Her ten areas of expertise follow, from selective mutism to school refusal.
School consultation gets its own card beside individual and family therapy, since training schools is work she’s done across the country. Nine outlets that have quoted her each get a card linking to the original piece. The FAQ covers insurance up front: she’s out of network and provides superbills.

Every booking button opens a pre-addressed email asking for a free 15-minute consult, which is how Janine wanted to take requests at the start.
Built to grow past one page
We hand-coded the site and host it on Vercel. Behind it sits a small design system: one token file holds every color and font, and a short written guide explains how to start a new page on brand.
Search setup came with launch. Structured data tells search engines she’s a psychologist and where she practices, and a plain-text profile at the root of the site gives AI assistants the same facts. Analytics run on the marketing pages, and the design guide keeps them off any page that collects health information.
The outcome
The site went live this summer as the practice opened, and Janine has stayed on our care plan since. When she’s ready for her next page, the system it needs is already in place.
